1866    January 6         Horace Wrinch born on a farm at Kirby-le-Soken in Essex, England.

1880    May 18            Arrives in Quebec, attends St. Francis Agricultural College, Richmond.

1884                           Horace moves to Halton County in Ontario to farm with his brother Leonard.

1890                            Horace is active in Methodism in Palermo, Halton County.

1894 - 1895                 Attends Albert College in Belleville, and matriculates.

1896 (7) - 1899           Attends Trinity Medical College in Toronto and graduates as a doctor and surgeon.

1899-1900                   House surgeon at St. Michael’s Hospital, Toronto.

1900  June 16             Horace marries Alice Beckon.

1900  September       Horace and Alice arrive in Kispiox on the Skeena River.

1902                            Horace and Alice move to Hazelton.

1903    August             Builds family home in Hazelton, and takes in hospital patients.

1904    October           The Hazelton Hospital opens.

1905-1906                   Horace spend seven months in Ontario and New York.

1906   June 19            The Gunanoot Affair. One of the murdered men is found on Horace’s own land.

1907                            Horace sets up the ticket scheme at the Hazelton Hospital.

1911                            The first car to drive overland from the south arrives. Or did it?

1912    October            First Grand Trunk Pacific railway car reaches in New Hazelton.

1914    April 17           New Hazelton Bank robbery.

1914-1918                   World War.

1918   October             Spanish Flu hits Hazelton.

1923    March 11         Alice dies.

1921-1923                   Horace is President BC Hospital Association for two terms.

1924     June                Elected an MLA for the Omineca Riding.

1927    February          Horace moves public health insurance in the Legislature.

1927    September 15   Horace re-marries.

1928    July                  Re-elected MLA.

1930    December 29   New Hazelton Hospital built and opened.

1933                            Horace does not stand for relection.

1934-1936                   Horace serves on Premier Patullo’s Economic Council.

1936    October           Horace retires and leaves Hazelton.

1939    October   19    Horace dies in Vancouver.
